The Elmer Back Gifting Center receives brand new products from manufacturers such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, Children’s Palace, Disney and many, many other companies.  We then supply these items to the non-profits to distribute them.  Items we receive include deodorant, toothbrushes, clothing, bedding, household items, toys and so much more.  All of the items received from us must be given free of charge to the ill, the needy and the youth in our area. 

 

Our building materials have refurbished many of the homes destroyed in hurricanes and storms.  Our toys have been given to children who have had extended hospital stays and children who have no toys at all.  Our bedding and bedroom furniture has helped people who have no furniture at all in their houses so they no longer have to sleep on the floor.  Our deodorants and make-up have helped women in abused women’s shelters cover up the many bruises so they can apply for a badly needed job, and have helped many needy and homeless people.  Our school supplies have helped the many children in our area who cannot afford their supplies.  Our computers have been put in community centers in impoverished areas.  These computers labs then help the children learn the skills they need to compete in today’s tough job market.
